Company Description Hope 4 2morrow Counseling & Treatment Center, located in Columbus, OH, provides a wide range of programs to support youth and adults in overcoming substance use and behavioral health challenges. The center focuses on equipping patients with practical tools and confidence to break harmful patterns and build sustainable, positive change. Services include Medication-Assisted Treatment, counseling, and structured Peer Support groups to meet diverse clinical and recovery needs.

The team is committed to creating a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where individuals feel respected, heard, and never alone on their recovery journey.

Role Description The Clinician is a full-time, on-site role based in Hilliard, OH, responsible for providing direct therapeutic services to youth and adult patients. Daily responsibilities include conducting biopsychosocial assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering individual and group counseling using evidence-based approaches. The Clinician will collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including medical providers and peer support specialists, to coordinate care and monitor patient progress.

Additional tasks include maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation, participating in case conferences, supporting crisis intervention when needed, and promoting a recovery-focused, trauma-informed environment. The role also involves educating patients and families about treatment options and community resources, while upholding all ethical and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Clinical practice skills in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and evidence-based counseling for substance use and mental health conditions.
  • Strong therapeutic communication skills, including active listening, motivational interviewing, and culturally responsive engagement with diverse populations.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, coordinate care, and manage caseloads with attention to detail and timely documentation.
  • Knowledge of recovery-oriented care, trauma-informed practices, and community resources relevant to youth and adult behavioral health treatment.
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field; appropriate licensure or license-eligibility (e.g., LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC, MFT) in the state of Ohio.
  • Experience in outpatient counseling, substance use treatment, or co-occurring disorders is highly beneficial.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
  • Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and non-discriminatory, person-centered care.
