Activities Assistant – Life Enrichment

Assist the Director/Leader in planning and executing all life enrichment activities

• Assist the Director/Leader in planning and executing all life enrichment activities
• Assist in scheduling and developing life enrichment activities
• Recruit, direct, and supervise volunteers
• Act on behalf of the Director of Life Enrichment when the director is not in the facility
• Lead activities on scheduled work days

• Completed high school education or equivalent
• One to two years of working with the elderly required
• Good communication, comprehension, and interpersonal skills
• Working knowledge of Windows
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Working knowledge of the internet
• Driver’s License preferred for possible future driving of facility van

Demonstrates strong leadership in planning and executing life enrichment activities for the elderly, with effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage volunteers and residents. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Windows to support administrative tasks and activity scheduling.
