Systems Engineer, IT Support, Network Engineer, Cybersecurity
Amazon Web Services (AWS) Infrastructure Services is looking for an Infrastructure Delivery Installation Technician to join our growing team. The role involves working independently to enhance network stability, developing automation solutions, and collaborating with software, hardware, and network engineers as well as supply chain, security, and operations professionals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Moving and installing large enterprise equipment.
- Installing fiber and copper cabling and patching cables between equipment.
- Ensuring safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation.
- Following well‑established hardware installation procedures and performing break‑fix activities.
- Safely using material handling tools and equipment.
Traveling within and outside of the regional work area is required.
Basic Qualifications- High school or equivalent diploma.
- 1+ year of relevant work experience.
- Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies.
- Experience in large‑scale data center network implementations and support.
- Experience in data center engineering or operations.
- Experience in technical program management or similar technical roles.
- Industry standard certification (CompTIA, CCENT, or Network+).
- Knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment.
- Technical certification in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Networking Engineering).
- Experience managing medium to large‑scale projects.
- Knowledge of system, network and OS.
