Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and may also consider education, work experience and certifications. Skills and Experience- Managing a large hourly team and leaders of leaders.
- Recruiting, selecting, talent management, and talent planning across all store departments.
- Guest service fundamentals and building a guest‑first culture.
- Retail business financials (payroll, P&L) and driving sales growth.
- Creating store‑specific strategies and managing the team to deliver results.
- Understanding sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing, promotions, and specialty businesses.
- Setting and planning quarterly business priorities, managing the team to meet sales goals.
- Making business decisions by assessing market competition, guest insights, and feedback.
- Cultivate a guest‑centric, engaged team.
- Lead a talent culture through active onboarding, development, and growth of leaders.
- Drive accountability with clear expectations and consistent performance management.
- Partner with HR to create and deliver sustainable, equitable talent strategies.
- Be approachable, resolving issues quickly and fostering an open environment.
- Recruit, hire, and retain a passionate, knowledgeable team.
- Oversee scheduling to meet business needs while ensuring a consistent guest experience.
- Manage leadership schedules that align to guest and business needs (weekends, nights, etc.).

- Invest in and track training to maintain skill development and timely completion.
- Model a welcoming experience by greeting guests and engaging proactively.
- Encourage guests, thank them, and reinforce a positive shopping experience.
- Balance in‑store and digital guest interactions to achieve sales and operational goals.
- Own the store’s overall business to drive efficiency, safety, and sales growth.
- Build and execute plans for an efficient operation that funds future growth.
- Create routines and action plans to resolve operational shortfalls.
- Leverage financial, operational, safety, and guest reports to make data‑driven decisions.
- Promote financial accountability: manage sales, headcount, payroll, and overtime.
- Assess competition, use guest insights, and drive continuous improvement.
- Build community relationships to address local needs.
- Coordinate field support partners for problem resolution.
- Set clear priorities by balancing competing demands.
- Own the safety culture: model safe behaviors, recognize compliance, and address hazards.
- Maintain an in‑store security culture focused on deterrence, response, and resolution.
