Maintenance Technician (Direct Hire)

Seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to operate, maintain, and repair ammonia and nitrogen refrigeration systems in a food-production environment. This role supports efficient freezing, storage, and plant cooling operations while ensuring safety, quality, and uptime.

Location Hilliard, OH + Pay: $35.00/hr +

Full Time, Direct Hire. Pay Rate: $35.00 / hour Duties:
Operate & maintain ammonia/nitrogen refrigeration systems, blast freezers, condensers, and chilled water systems;
Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting & mechanical/electrical repairs;
Monitor gauges, logs & system data for performance;
Follow GMP, safety procedures & maintain clean work areas;
Read manuals/blueprints; order parts; support other maintenance techs as needed.

Position Requirements : 1-3 years of hands-on industrial ammonia refrigeration experience;

Experience with vacuum systems, screw compressors, storage/freezer systems;
Nitrogen flash freezer experience preferred;
Electrical, pipe fitting, pneumatics & hydraulics experience helpful. Requirements:
Background Check, Drug Test, Must be at least 18 years old. Able to Lift 50 pounds., required education: HS Diploma or GED.
