Responsibilities
  • Serve as the Superior Supervisor; in the absence of department heads, responsible for the building’s operations and lead the Wellness team and other departments in ensuring quick, reliable, and person-centered care.
  • Provide leadership on the floor; assist with call lights, requests for assistance and demonstrate a sense of urgency to prioritize resident needs.
  • Document accurately and efficiently; complete resident assessments, medical records, and internal documents in a timely manner.
  • Exemplify core values as a Compassionate Caregiver; ensure every interaction with a resident is professional, caring, and ends with the resident feeling safe and cared for.
Qualifications
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in state of employment.
  • Thorough working knowledge of current care standards and regulations.
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of current medication regulation and law.
  • Knowledge of requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to residents.
  • Experience in hands‑on care of memory impaired residents is preferred.
  • Experience with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) is preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English with residents.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds and perform two‑person transfers.
  • Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after a fall.
  • Criminal‑clearance required.
