Position
Wellness Nurse Manager
Work DetailsPosition Type: PRN
Location:
Hilliard, Ohio
Starting wage: $32.00–$35.00 per hour
Shift schedule:
As needed/varies
- Serve as the Superior Supervisor; in the absence of department heads, responsible for the building’s operations and lead the Wellness team and other departments in ensuring quick, reliable, and person-centered care.
- Provide leadership on the floor; assist with call lights, requests for assistance and demonstrate a sense of urgency to prioritize resident needs.
- Document accurately and efficiently; complete resident assessments, medical records, and internal documents in a timely manner.
- Exemplify core values as a Compassionate Caregiver; ensure every interaction with a resident is professional, caring, and ends with the resident feeling safe and cared for.
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in state of employment.
- Thorough working knowledge of current care standards and regulations.
- Comprehensive working knowledge of current medication regulation and law.
- Knowledge of requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to residents.
- Experience in hands‑on care of memory impaired residents is preferred.
- Experience with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) is preferred.
- Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English with residents.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds and perform two‑person transfers.
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after a fall.
- Criminal‑clearance required.
