Position Summary

A Shift Supervisor is a key leader supporting the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty to CVS/pharmacy through a focus on excellent customer service. When the manager or Operations Supervisor is not onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures smooth operations, and is responsible for completing all opening and closing procedures.

Functions
  • Work effectively with store management and store crews.
  • Supervise the staff by assigning duties, directing activities, and following up on all tasks.
  • Communicate information clearly between management and crew.
  • Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints; promote a positive shopping experience.
  • Handle customer relations issues in accordance with company policy.
  • Maintain customer/patient confidentiality.
  • Price merchandise, stock shelves, and execute weekly, promotional, and seasonal displays and signage.
  • Maintain off‑shelf merchandise and reset departments following POGs.
Required Qualifications
  • Deductive reasoning, analytical, and computer skills.
  • Advanced communication and supervision skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, weekend shifts, overtime, and respond to urgent store issues.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a retail supervisor.
Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent. Preferred but not required.
