Overview
Sales Consultant position at Harmony Trace, an assisted living community in Hilliard, Ohio. Harmony Trace is owned and operated by National Church Residences, the nation’s largest provider of affordable senior housing and health care services. We are seeking a Sales Consultant who will share in our vision to advance better living and care for seniors.
Responsibilities- Manage prospect cycle including lead management, discovery, personalized solutions, appropriate follow up, and documentation in the CRM. This may involve phone calls, emails, virtual visits, home visits, and tours at the community.
- Create a positive first impression for prospects and their families, as well as referral partners, including discovery room, professional collateral, and internal team communication.
- Conduct tours and assist prospective residents through the sales process to select a living unit.
- Obtain appropriate documentation for a prospect to become a new resident, and coordinate the move-in with the internal team.
- Develop and maintain relationships with referral partners, execute the outreach plan, plan events on and off site, and manage site-level lead generation efforts.
- Develop and execute components of the sales plan based on market trends, demands, and community needs to drive occupancy and achieve targeted goals.
- Meet or exceed KPI expectations for the community sales plan and drive occupancy to designated goals.
- Manage the CRM for proper and timely sales activity and tracking, including prospect input, discovery notes, lead source, lead score, and next steps.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, occupancy, and marketing activities.
- Collaborate with leadership support and the marketing team to meet the community’s marketing needs, and operate within the community marketing budget in collaboration with the corporate team.
- Assist non-sales staff with understanding and appreciating the concept, and maintain knowledge of National Church Residences’ service offerings and community resources.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Education:
High School diploma or GED required. - Experience:
1-3 years in a sales environment. - Travel:
Occasional local travel. - Must have good communication, comprehension, computer, and interpersonal skills.
- Skills:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, smartphone, and internet. Strong phone contact handling and customer service skills. - Salary plus commission.
- Strong closing experience.
- CRM knowledge preferred.
- Previous senior living (SL) sales experience preferred.
- Manages prospect cycle including lead management, discovery, personalized solutions, recommended follow up, and documentation in the CRM across various communication channels.
- Creates a positive first impression for prospects, families, and referral partners with professional collateral and effective internal communication.
- Transfers prospects through tours and the sales process to select a living unit.
- Obtains required documents and coordinates move-in with the internal team.
- Maintains relationships with referral partners and leads outreach efforts, planning events as needed.
- Executes sales plan components aligned with market trends and community needs to drive occupancy and meet goals.
- Maintains CRM data accuracy and timely activity logging; tracks discovery notes, lead sources, scores, and next steps.
- Produces regular reports on sales performance, occupancy, and marketing activities.
- Collaborates with leadership and marketing to meet community needs and manage within budget.
- Develops knowledge of National Church Residences’ service offerings and community resources.
- Other duties as assigned.
