Personal Care Assistant

Location: The Ashford Sturbridge
Job Type: Full-time or Part-time
Hourly Rate: $16/hr plus shift differential

• Provide exceptional personal service and daily care to residents.
• Provide all aspects of personal hygiene and grooming for residents.
• Answer call lights promptly and respond to resident or family needs.
• Motivate and encourage resident participation in activities.
• Assist residents to and from activities, dining room, and other community functions.
• Lift, turn, and reposition residents as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Assist with pre‑employment drug screen, physical exam, and background check.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Organized and self‑motivated to do a great job for residents.
• CPR Certified. Nurse Aide Certification is a plus but not required.
• Effective communication skills to interact with co‑workers, residents, family members, and peers.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
• Previous experience in an Assisted Living or Memory Care Community is a plus.
