Position Overview Serve patients in moments that matter and be a part of the future of health care. SCP Health, a physician-founded and physician-led organization, is seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join the Emergency Department at Hillsboro Area Hospital, a critical access hospital located in Hillsboro, Illinois.

This opportunity offers a low-to-moderate volume Emergency Department, 12- or 24-hour physician shifts, and the ability to practice broad-scope emergency medicine in a newly renovated, physician-friendly facility.

Clinical & Program Details Patient Volume: 6,000 ED visits annually

Qualifications

Education:

MD or DO from an accredited medical school

Licensure:
Illinois medical license (or ability to obtain)
Board Certification:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine

Experience:

Prior Emergency Department experience preferred

Clinical

Skills:

Broad emergency medicine skill set appropriate for a critical access environment

Badges: BLS, ACLS, PALS (or ability to obtain)
Facility & Clinical Details About Hillsboro Area Hospital Hillsboro Area Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital offering emergency care, inpatient care, and transitional care, along with diagnostic imaging, laboratory services, physical therapy, sleep clinic, and surgical services. The facility provides 24-hour laboratory and x-ray services, as well as MRI capabilities, supporting comprehensive, high-quality patient care. The Emergency Department is housed in a newly built, environmentally friendly ("green") facility, designed to enhance efficiency, safety, and provider experience.
