As part of our award‑winning company, we will work with you to achieve career success! This full‑time position is available to be filled in our Hannibal MO, Keokuk IA, Springfield IL, or Washington IL offices with paid travel expenses and a per diem allowance for meals.
- Education:
Bachelor's Degree in engineering, land surveying, or related field - Licensure:
Current licensure as a Professional Land Surveyor in Training (S.I.T.) or ability to obtain within the first 6 months of employment - Safety: A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Travel:
Able to travel within the United States to meet project requirements, sometimes on short notice - Service Oriented:
Able to maintain focus on project delivery and client service with attention to detail and meeting deadlines

Professional, respectful, and team‑oriented, with a strong work ethic and the ability to collaborate internally and externally - Can Do Attitude:
Positively engages with challenges, facilitates problem solving, and takes initiative to deliver solutions - Responsive:
Communicates openly, proactively, and promptly, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Software:
Familiarity with ArcGIS, AutoCAD, or Micro Station - Experience:
14 years' experience as a field survey party chief or Surveyor in Training
- Perform field surveys including hydrographic, topographic, control, and boundary surveys
- Conduct boundary research and prepare plats, plans, and legal boundary descriptions
- Perform and check calculations including level circuit reduction, least squared and compass rule computations, and volume and area calculations
- Utilize technology including operating cutting‑edge survey equipment and a wide variety of high‑tech sensors and methods
Salary range $52,000-$87,360/year determined by education, experience, licensure, and KSAs of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.
