Civil Engineer

We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team of architects, engineers, surveyors, and industry specialists. This role is responsible for planning, designing, and managing transportation, roadway, site development, and stormwater infrastructure projects while collaborating with internal teams and clients to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Manage technical and support staff in the development and execution of engineering projects.

Plan and design roadway, site development, and stormwater management projects.

Prepare Phase I project documentation.

Develop Phase II plans, specifications, and cost estimates.

Prepare engineering reports, drainage studies, safety studies, and other project-related documentation.

Ensure compliance with applicable DOT design policies, submittal requirements, and permitting regulations.

Collaborate with professionals across multiple disciplines.

Mentor and support junior engineering staff.

Maintain effective communication with public and private sector clients.

Conduct site visits and field inspections as required.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.

Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably with an emphasis on roadway and transportation projects.

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Experience with Micro Station, Geopark, or Open Roads Designer is preferred.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Drainage design experience is a plus.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to perform field inspections and visit project sites as needed.
