Requirements- Graduation from high school or vocational school, including or supplemented by courses in mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation maintenance.
- Experience in the operation and maintenance of municipal infrastructure.
- Must demonstrate safe working practices and adhere to safety policies and procedures.
- Capability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, current staff members, and the general public.
- Must possess a valid IL driver’s license and a safe driving record.
- Must be able to lift or move up to 40 lbs on a regular basis.
- Ability to acquire Class “D” water or Class “4” wastewater license within 1 year.
- Understanding of SCADA operations.
- Knowledge of computer applications, and ability to use & learn various software programs (MS Teams, Outlook, Hach WIMS, Utility Cloud)
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
