Job Overview
As a Field Merchandiser, you will be the face of Hallmark, working independently to showcase your organization and time‑management skills while establishing retailer relationships. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations when needed. On occasion you may also work with other products from different companies in the stores you service.
Salaryand Schedule Details
- Your starting hourly pay rate will be $15.00 - $17.00 depending on your skills and experience.
- Paid training is provided through live, hands‑on instruction as well as virtual classroom training.
- Part‑time employees are offered voluntary benefits including medical, dental, vision, etc.
- Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
- This is a Part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
- Average weekly hours for this position are between 4‑6 hours per week.
- Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.
- Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
You’ll perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers. The retail merchandiser position consists of three major components:
This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and urgency. You will work on the selling floor and in back stockrooms, consistently pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the day and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You will also kneel, squat, walk, stand, and may climb stairs and step ladders.
BasicQualifications
- You are at least 18 years of age.
- You can read, write, and understand English.
- You can lift and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- You can operate a digital hand‑held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
- You have access to a Wi‑Fi network and the internet.
- You have reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
