Education Requirements- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Technical training in electronics, mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or industrial technology is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, work instructions, and assembly drawings.
- Previous experience as an Assembler, Electromechanical Assembler, Mechanical Assembler, Production Assembler, or in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic and mechanical assemblies.
- Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, gauges, measuring devices, and basic testing equipment.
- Knowledge of electrical wiring, mechanical components, quality inspections, and production processes.
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the workday.
- Frequently lift and move components, finished products, and materials, using hoists or powered lift equipment when needed.
- Strong manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail for precision assembly work.
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while meeting quality and productivity standards.
- Assemble, wire, align, fit, and adjust electronic and mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, routing sheets, photographs, and written work instructions.
- Perform operational testing, inspect assemblies for quality, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and complete necessary repairs or adjustments.
- Install switches, motors, sensors, circuits, cables, bearings, bushings, and other components while ensuring proper fit and function.
- Use hand tools, power tools, gauges, fixtures, hoists, and powered lift equipment to assemble, inspect, package, and move products.
- Report quality concerns, maintain accurate testing documentation, and package finished products for shipment while following all safety and quality procedures.
