The CAO organization partners across Intel to ensure accurate GAAP‑compliant accounting, drive end‑to‑end controllership and file required financial and regulatory reports globally.

About

the Role

The Hire to Retire (H2R) Controller is a senior leader within Corporate Accounting, reporting to the Vice President of Accounting Operations. This role is responsible for end‑to‑end accounting, reporting and controllership for Intel’s global compensation and benefits programs, including:

  • Stock‑Based Compensation (SBC) under ASC 718
  • Bonus and Sabbatical program accounting under ASC 710
  • Restructuring and Severance accounting under ASC 420 and ASC 712
  • Health and Welfare plan accounting, reporting and regulatory filings
  • Proxy support with Legal for executive compensation disclosures
  • Ownership of Intel’s annual Form 11‑K filings

The H2R Controller leads a team of two senior staff in the United States and two direct staff in Costa Rica, and partners with Intel’s global shared‑service centers. The role also supports Retirement and Health and Welfare plan compliance through Intel’s Plans Administrative Committees. You will work closely with HR Compensation and Benefits, Treasury, Retirement Investments, Legal, Corporate Planning, Accounting Policy, External Reporting and other CAO functions, as well as external auditors, actuaries, valuation specialists and equity service providers.

  • Govern accrual methodologies for global bonus and sabbatical programs.
  • Deliver accurate accruals, reliable forecasts and insights for business and finance leaders.
