Baseline Vision Clinic is searching for a front desk receptionist to join our team! We are a small but high-tech optometry office offering comprehensive and medical eye care to patients of all ages.
Front Desk ReceptionistThe Front Desk Receptionits serves as the first point of contact for patients, delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring efficient daily front office operations. This role is responsible for appointment scheduling, patient communications, administrative support, and maintaining an organized, welcoming clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, and greet patients upon arrival.
- Manage patient communications, including phone calls, text messages, voicemails, emails, faxes, and internal team messaging.
- Upload and maintain patient documentation, including intake forms, insurance information, IDs, and medical records.
- Monitor assigned tasks, respond to patient inquiries, and conduct reminder calls for upcoming appointments and prior authorizations.
- Follow up with missed or late appointments, reschedule patients, process no-show fees, and mail statements as needed.
- Check out patients, schedule follow-up visits, collect payments, and assist with contact lens orders.
- Coordinate and schedule cataract post-operative appointments according to established protocols and document schedules in patient charts.
- Monitor office and product inventory, communicate supply needs to the Office Manager, and organize product samples.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area, including sanitizing high-touch surfaces and restocking supplies.
- Complete end-of-day administrative tasks, including preparing patient forms and creating the following day s schedules.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and scheduling systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
