Commercial Construction Project Executive
In Accordance With The Washington Equal Pay And Opportunity Act, Section RCW 49.58.110, the Base Salary Range for this position is $ – $. Compensation in other cities and states may vary.

Responsibilities- Maintain adherence to HITT’s standards of safety.
- Ensure all job processes are followed in accordance with HITT policies.
- Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts with clients.
- Monitor the progress of each project through updated schedules.
- Ensure that the project Quality Control Plan is followed.
- Assist project staff in resolving scope problems with subcontractors.
- Ensure proper assignment and evaluation of field personnel both within the project team and throughout the company.
- Identify and negotiate time extensions where justified and allowed.
- Acquire new work as well as maintain existing clients.
- Maintain positive relationships with the subcontractor community.
- Ensure timely completion of the closeout process.
- Lead the preconstruction and RFP package effort with the help of the Preconstruction Department and/or other company resources.
- Delegate responsibility when necessary to ensure that project tasks run smoothly.
- 10+ years of experience in commercial construction, including experience with a commercial general contractor.
- Prior healthcare construction project experience required.
- A four-year degree from an accredited university with a concentration in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred.
- In lieu of a degree, additional work experience is acceptable.
- Previous experience in a project management role with the ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to master sector/project-specific software systems including Microsoft Office suite (Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), Pro Core, Adobe, Blue Beam, JD Edwards.
- Mastery of reading construction drawings; tasks including reading, interpreting, and updating construction project-related drawings.
- Ability to organize necessary resources, including people, tools and time to meet tight deadlines and achieve desired results.
- Knowledge of current market conditions including pricing conventions and trends.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, positive attitude, professionalism, strong communication, initiative, integrity, continuous self‑improvement, quality focus, flexibility, collaboration, customer service orientation, coaching, client relationship management, prioritization, and punctuality.
