Position Overview

We are seeking two experienced Construction Coordinators to support semiconductor tool installation projects within a leading advanced manufacturing facility. These are hands‑on field leadership positions responsible for coordinating all construction activities for assigned tools from planning through final turnover.

The Construction Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for all trade partners, contractors, vendors, and internal support teams while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and in accordance with quality standards.

This position is ideal for candidates with semiconductor capital equipment/tool installation experience who enjoy working in a fast‑paced, highly technical construction environment.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all construction activities for assigned semiconductor tool installation projects.
  • Serve as the primary field contact for contractors, vendors, and client support teams.
  • Review construction and design packages to ensure constructability and identify potential issues before installation.
  • Coordinate multiple trades throughout all phases of tool installation.
  • Support equipment move‑in, installation, startup, and turnover activities.
  • Monitor project schedules, daily work plans, and milestone completion.
  • Lead field coordination meetings and support look‑ahead planning activities.
  • Track project constraints and proactively remove obstacles impacting schedule or productivity.
  • Coordinate RFIs, field changes, and change order documentation.
  • Conduct field walks to verify installation quality and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Participate in QA/QC inspections, punch list management, and turnover readiness.
  • Support contractor safety compliance, housekeeping, and site cleanliness.
  • Coordinate activities between tool installation, base build, and facility support teams.
  • Maintain project documentation, daily reports, and progress updates.
  • Drive continuous improvement and support zero rework and zero punch list objectives.
Required Qualifications
  • Semiconductor capital equipment or tool installation construction experience.
  • Experience coordinating multiple construction trades in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor construction processes and cleanroom protocols.
  • Experience supporting equipment move‑in, installation, and system turnover.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and design packages.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project).
  • Experience working closely with contractors, vendors, and project management teams.
Additional Qualifications
  • Experience supporting major semiconductor manufacturers.
  • Previous Construction Coordinator, Tool Install Coordinator, Field Engineer, or Superintendent experience.
  • Experience with QA/QC processes and project turnover documentation.
  • Familiarity with RFI management, change orders, and construction scheduling.
  • Experience coordinating cleanroom construction and high‑purity manufacturing environments.
