Institutional Effectiveness & Innovation Student Assistant Responsibilities
- Attend department events, as applicable
- Help to set up and take down for any department event
- Assist with increasing awareness of InSPIRED Empowerment, Engagement, and Accessibility (EEA) programs, such as the monthly diversity calendar celebrations
- Assist in the creation and implementation of InSPIRED social media and public relations materials
- Co-facilitate in obtaining student input and involvement in relevant InSPIRED activities
- Interact with students, faculty, and staff
- Coordinate with student organizations for activities, such as InSPIRED listening sessions, global diversity awareness, and Viking Central campus events
- Communication skills specific to facilitating effective presentations and written documents
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality and privacy of what is shared
- Pass a background check and be in good standing with the College and community
- Current student
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable, learn quickly, and be self‑motivated
- Proficient with the College’s Google Drive programs and social media outlets
- Possess knowledge of basic public relations and marketing principles
