Title of Position: FWS–Test Proctor Assistant
Department Name, Location of Department: Pacific University – School of Physician Associate Studies. Hillsboro Campus, Creighton Hall, Suite 528.
Purpose of Position: The Testing Proctor Assistant supports the Physician Associate Program's assessment process by maintaining a secure, professional, and distraction-free testing environment. This position helps ensure academic integrity during written examinations and other assessment activities while providing logistical support before and after testing sessions.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor testing environments to ensure compliance with examination procedures, academic integrity standards, and program policies.
Verify student attendance and maintain accurate records of examination participation.
Observe testing sessions and appropriately report suspected testing irregularities or policy violations to supervising faculty or staff.
Provide basic procedural guidance to examinees regarding testing expectations and approved materials.
Assist with examination setup and conclusion activities, including distributing and collecting testing materials as directed.
Maintain a quiet, professional, and organized testing environment throughout examination periods.
Communicate any student concerns, technical issues, or disruptions to the appropriate program personnel.
Follow established confidentiality and security procedures regarding examinations and student information.

QualificationsRequired:

Preferred:
Previous experience in a proctoring, monitoring, customer service, or educational support role.
Interest in healthcare, education, or administrative support environments.
Experience working independently with minimal supervision.
Length of employment:
Start: June 18th from 8:00am to 11:30am.
Wage Rate: $16.30/hr increases to $16.80/hr July 1.
