Administrative Assistant – School of Physical Therapy and Athletic Training
Position provides day‑to‑day operational support to students, faculty, and Program Directors within the School of Physical Therapy and Athletic Training.
Responsibilities- Acts as primary point of contact for student and faculty questions and resource needs.
- Maintains academic calendars, class schedules, and student rosters.
- Assists with room reservations.
- Provides fundraising guidance to students per policies and procedures.
- Oversees and guides the FWS lab maintenance student team.
- Supports the Coordinator of Clinical Education for the MSAT program.
- Take meeting minutes for MSAT and DPT programs.
- Facilitate registration and MSAT course evaluations.
- Maintain office, classroom, and lab supply inventories.
- Maintain office equipment and submit/monitor facility requests.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager of Administrative Services and/or Program Directors.
- Supervises student workers only.
- High school education or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a general office setting or higher education setting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and file‑management systems (e.g., Box).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced organizational skills and the ability to work independently with minimal direction.
- Demonstrated critical thinking, problem‑solving, decision‑making, and confidentiality.
- Effective communication skills including body language, listening, and paraphrasing.
- Teamwork and collaboration abilities.
Full‑time, on‑site position at the Hillsboro Campus. Standard weekday hours 8am‑5pm with some flexibility. Occasional early evening or weekend events may occur.
