What You’ll Do- Own and execute sales strategy to crush annual revenue goals
- Find, qualify, and win business across DoD, DoE, aerospace, manufacturing + research sectors
- Deliver technical demos and high-impact presentations
- Guide customers on testing methods and system configurations
- Drive proposals, quotes, and spec packages with applications teams
- Manage pipeline + forecasting in CRM like a pro
- Build long-term relationships with key engineering and research leaders
- Represent Gleeble at conferences, trade shows, and symposiums
- Support customers post-sale with training coordination
- Stay sharp on competitors and emerging market trends
- Bachelor’s in Materials Science, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering
, or similar - 7+ years in technical sales or applications engineering
- Knowledge of metallurgy, materials testing
, or thermal-mechanical processing - Proven sales wins. Capital equipment sales preferred
- Ability to simplify complex engineering challenges
- Strong communicator with confidence in presenting to experts
- CRM proficiency
- Ability to travel 50%
- Experience selling capital equipment / lab instrumentation
- Understanding of ASTM / ISO standards
- DoD/DoE procurement familiarity
- Existing network in aerospace, defense, materials R&D
- MS/PhD in materials field
- Knowledge of welding simulation, high-temp testing, forming or advanced alloy development
- Salary range: $90,000-$125,000 annually
