The EHS Department of the Customer Support (CS) organization is responsible for establishing programs and procedures for the engineers who conduct the installation, qualification, repair and maintenance of the ASML systems at customer sites and the necessary transfer of know-how to the customer. This internship sits within our EHS team in Hillsboro.

Your assignment:

* The goal of the internship is to work in a team environment alongside local experienced EHS professionals, project managers, and leaders to gain insight on the ASML ways of working and our groundbreaking technology.

* Specific projects will be tailored to match the education/experience level of the intern as well as the interns learning objectives for the summer.

* Interns will typically be required to document and present their findings as well as making an end of summer presentation to the group about what they achieved during their internship.

Project examples may include:

* Evaluating the respiratory protection program and aligning the way of working with the regulatory and consensus standard (e.g., ACGIH, AIHA, etc.) requirements

* Working with stakeholders and developing new processes and procedures based on research, OSHA, and consensus standard requirements.

* Analyzing EHS data and creating digital scorecards to report on KPIs.

* Collaborating with EHS from other sites to align and standardize EHS practices.

* Participating in incident investigations and EHS audits.

You Profile:

* Minimum 60 hours completed towards a Bachelor's degree in an EHS field and an expected graduation date of December 2026 or May 2027.

* Preferred Majors:
Industrial/Occupational Hygiene or Occupational Health & Safety.

* Knowledgeable in MS Office applications - Excel, One Note, Teams, PowerPoint.

* Familiar with industrial hygiene practices and respiratory protection a plus.

* Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.

* Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

* May require domestic travel

* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
