Software Engineer, Systems Engineer
NVIDIA is seeking a hardworking, motivated and creative Senior Verification Engineer to join our GPU Memory Subsystem IP verification team. In this role you will partner with design and architecture teams, craft and execute verification test plans, maintain regressions, close coverage, and sign off on both functional correctness and performance expectations for multiple product lines including consumer graphics, self‑driving cars, HPC, cloud computing, and AI.
WhatYou’ll Be Doing
- Develop verification infrastructure (test benches, BFMs, checkers, monitors, randomizers)
- Develop, review, and drive test‑plan execution for planned features
- Analyze performance requirements of the IP and drive performance test plans
- Ensure code and functional coverage of all RTL to be verified
- Collaborate with FPGA and software teams to ensure software is tested
- Plan for and participate in post‑silicon verification and debug activities
- BS / MS or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of ASIC verification experience on complex design units, with strong attention to detail, teamwork, problem‑solving, and demonstrated success
- Experience with design and verification tools (e.g., VCS, Debussy, GDB)
- Background in System Verilog and UVM‑based methodology for ASIC verification
- Strong C/C++ programming experience
- Prior design or verification experience of dynamic memory controllers (DDR{2,3,4,5}, LPDDR{2,3,4,5,6}, HBM, or GDDR)
- Strong debugging and problem‑solving skills
- Scripting knowledge (Python/Perl/shell)
- Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team
Competitive salaries and a generous benefit package. Salary ranges:
Level 3 (136,000 USD - 218,500 USD) and Level 4 (168,000 USD - 264,500 USD). Equity and benefits are also available.
