Our client, a leader in process control and semiconductor technology, is seeking a Junior Data Engineer to join their team. As a Junior Data Engineer, you will be part of the Applications Support Department supporting data analysis and process optimization initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate curiosity, analytical thinking, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Junior Data Engineer
Location: Hillsboro, Oregon
What's the Job?- Assist in data preparation by sorting, organizing, validating, and transferring raw and processed data files.
- Execute data reprocessing activities using modeling software such as AiDiffract in accordance with established procedures.
- Generate datasets utilizing specialized software and utilities to support analysis activities.
- Analyze data and create visualizations and plots using Excel and JMP to support decision-making.
- Create reports summarizing data, analysis results, and visualizations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field such as mathematics, physics, chemistry, computer science, statistics, or data science.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with JMP and Python is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively in meetings and reports.
