Senior CPU Design Engineer

We are seeking a senior engineer to design and implement high‑performance, low‑power CPUs for NVIDIA’s broad product portfolio.

Responsibilities
  • Drive micro‑architecture definition, feasibility studies, and documentation of CPU sub‑systems.
  • Implement RTL and coordinate with verification to ensure functional design.
  • Optimize logic to meet performance, timing, and power targets.
  • Deliver synthesis/timing‑clean designs, collaborate with physical design for routable layouts.
  • Support hardware engineering activities including floor plan, power/clock distribution, chip assembly, timing closure, power and noise analysis, and back‑end verification.
  • Develop flows and tools as needed to support design activities.
Qualifications
  • BS or MS in electrical or computer engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of proven experience in micro‑architecture and RTL development of complex, high‑speed designs, ideally in CPU subsystems.
  • Exposure to computer architecture and digital systems design.
  • Highly proficient in logic design, Verilog/System Verilog, and a deep understanding of physical design and VLSI.
  • Strong scripting skills (Perl, Python).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Benefits

Competitive salary: USD 168,000–264,500 for Level4 and USD 196,000–310,500 for Level5, plus equity and benefits.
