Job Title: Electron Microscope Technician

Location: 8531 NE Cornell Rd, Suite B300, Hillsboro, OR 97124

Total Regular Hours: 42.50 per week

Timings: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM

Personnel Area: Research and Development

Education: Bachelor's degree

Experience: 2-5 years in electron microscopy, preferably in QC/ R&D environment

• First round will be phone and then second round will be onsite.

• Client Electronics Materials, located in Hillsboro, OR, is looking for a full-time technician to perform electron microscopy characterization during the 2nd shift and occasionally on weekends.
• The successful candidate will support R&D projects by on-time execution of SEM imaging and sample prep requests.
• The candidate will be expected to work independently.
• Communication and collaboration skills are needed to ensure maximum throughput in a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on SEM experience is a must-have, familiarity with FIB is preferred along with basic microscope troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to operate Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) (2+ years).
• Experience with Focused ion-beam (FIB) is preferred.
• BS Degree in STEM with basic knowledge in semiconductor is preferred.
• Familiarity with general characterization techniques.
• Expected to work independently with minimum supervision and also part of a team.
• Must be able to work on the 2nd shift most days with occasional weekend commitment.

Pay Range: $30.00 - $33.00
