Systems Engineer, Operations Manager

The Global Customer Operations Group focuses on enabling our customer success that fuels profitable growth.
The impact you’ll makeYou will define and drive the engineering strategy for Etch technology within GCO, leading complex hardware, software, and systems initiatives that enhance process capability, improve system reliability, and extend the performance lifetime of our installed base. You will work directly with key customers to resolve exceptionally challenging process engineering issues, anticipate future technology inflections, and initiate the development of innovative, integrated solutions that address their highest‑value technical and operational needs.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Set the long‑range engineering roadmap for Etch within GCO.
- Lead multi‑discipline teams across hardware, software, and systems.
- Drive program execution, quality, and release of engineering solutions.
- Partner with Product Management, Field, and Quality to align priorities with customer needs.
- Develop and mentor senior managers and engineering leaders.
- Manage budgets, resources, and portfolio prioritization.
- Bachelor’s degree with 10–15 years of relevant experience and 8+ years of management; advanced degree preferred.
- Strong background in semiconductor equipment engineering;
Etch experience highly preferred. - Proven leadership of large, multi‑functional engineering teams.
- Strong strategic, technical, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work directly with key customers to resolve exceptionally complex process engineering issues.
- Experience with plasma etch, installed‑base engineering, or product lifecycle management.
- Background supporting high‑volume semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
- Experience leading global, matrixed teams and driving engineering process improvements.
