Bentley, Perth – 12 Week vacation program commencing November 2026.

Horizon Power is Western Australia’s regional and remote power provider, committed to providing safe and reliable power to homes, businesses, and communities. We are a state‑government‑owned corporation focused on quality service across regional WA.

We are seeking engineering undergraduates to undertake a 12‑week vacation work program starting Monday 17 November 2026 and ending Friday 5 February 2027.

During the program you will work on current Horizon Power projects in the following areas:

• Power systems analysis – including connection of distributed energy resources.
• Control philosophy – linked to distributed energy resources control.
• Asset management and standards

The Summer Vacation Program is a paid full‑time position of 37.5 hours per week at our Bentley offices. It offers the chance to utilise your skills and support professional development within a value‑driven organisation.

Full compliance with Horizon Power policies and attendance on a daily basis are required.

• Full working rights in Australia.
• Current third or fourth year of study towards an engineering degree eligible for Engineers Australia membership.
• Willingness and ability to meet pre‑employment medical requirements.
• A strong interest in the power industry (preferred).
