Install Engineer

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Location: Hillsboro, OR

Travel: 50-80% Domestic Travel Required

Position Type: Full Time

• Performs technical tasks of limited scope with assistance. Learns to set up electronic, mechanical, optical units to ensure equipment performs to specification.
• Provides technical support of process piping and electro-mechanical systems as related to semiconductor equipment installations.
• Work involves isolating and defining unknown conditions and resolving critical problems.
• Ability to lay cabling and to perform construction work in accordance with specifications and procedures.
• Ability to take physical field measurements and conduct facility verification.
• Ability to use measurement tools.

• Communicates in a clear, accurate and courteous manner with customers and colleagues.
• Projects a positive and professional image of self and WGNSTAR.
• Proficiency with common hand tools: adjustable wrenches, drivers, torque wrenches, socket drivers, etc.
• Interest in the semiconductor industry and latest technological advances.
• Working in cleanroom experience.

• 2-year associate’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or related field, plus 2-5 years related experience in mechanical/electrical engineering within semiconductor industry.

May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hours at a time, ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds.
