Job Details
Designs, develops, tests, and debugs software tools, flows, and methodologies used in design automation and by teams in the design of hardware products, process design, or manufacturing. Responsibilities include capturing user stories/requirements, writing both functional and test code, automating build and deployment, and performing unit, integration, and end‑to‑end testing of the software tools.
QualificationsYou must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications- Master's with 2+ years of experience or PhD degree with experience in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical engineering discipline.
Must have the required degree or expect the required degree by September 2026.
6+ months of experience in the following:
- Solid programming and scripting languages such as Python, Tcl, or C++.
- Experience working on Linux environments and version management systems.
12+ months of experience in the following:
- Industry‑standard EDA tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Synopsys ICV, Siemens Calibre for use in physical design, place‑and‑route scripts, and DRC verification.
- Development of job management tools on distributed systems.
- Automation of processes through workflows, templates, and other means.
- Knowledge of CAD software administration and deployment.
