Job Title: Technical Writer
Location: Hillsboro, OR
Duration: 12 Months+ (Possibility of extension)
Shift: 1st shift hours: 8 – 5 PM
Duties- Attend daily stand up meetings with production to align with priority focus or changes.
- Work directly with a production employee to capture process improvements/changes for documentation.
- Work independently to close on pending work instructions for engineering review.
- Meet weekly with production engineering to review status and to confirm engineering priorities.
- Submit all changes to engineering in a designated time for review.
- Conduct a monthly cross-functional status meeting to discuss progress and strategic goals.
- Minimum 2 year degree in a technical writing or communications field
- Experience in lieu of a degree
- Procedural creation and updates in a technical industry.
- Reviewing user documentation for production or service.
