Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for an
Electrical Designer
to join an engineering company in Hillsboro, OR. This is a 12-month contract to start with the potential for extensions.

$25.00 - $40.87/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.

We're seeking an Electrical Intermediate level Designer to join our Tool Installation team. This challenging position involves working as part of a multi-discipline, highly interactive and coordinated team focused on projects primarily for the semiconductor manufacturing industry.

• Utilize AutoCAD
• Prepare drawings using computer aided drafting and basic design of electrical power, life safety, and telecommunications services to manufacturing tools, using appropriate design criteria.
• Coordinate directly with engineers and package design leads to balance workload and deliver packages, often under tight deadlines.

• High school graduate or equivalent
• 2+ years experience with AutoCAD
• Proficiency in electrical design and layout requirements. Including items such as one-line diagrams, riser diagrams, electrical plan view drawings
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong communication, organization and self-performance skills
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of situations, including remote environment.

• Two-year Associate's Degree in relevant field, such as electrician, instrumentation & controls, construction
• Exposure to National Electrical Code (NFPA 70/NEC)
• Experience in semiconductor or similar industrial facilities

• This is a hybrid position and may require periodic travel to client sites
• Preference to candidates located in home office locations; such as Portland Hillsboro, Corvallis OR;
  Tempe AZ;
  Pittsburgh PA.
• Site work will require field mobility including walking for surveys, stairs, access platforms, protective wear, etc.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
