You AreUST is searching for a Lab Support Technician who will support daily lab operations including system setup, teardown, and movement of equipment.
Opportunity- Assist with platform bring‑up activities under guidance from senior engineers or technicians.
- Perform installation and basic troubleshooting of operating systems such as Linux, Windows, and VMware.
- Support hardware assembly and disassembly including servers, desktops, peripherals, and accessories.
- Assist with rack setup, cabling, labeling, and cable management activities.
- Collect system logs and assist in executing predefined test procedures.
- Maintain lab cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety and ESD guidelines.
- Support inventory tracking, asset labeling, and documentation updates.
- Follow standard operating procedures and security policies within the lab environment.
- Work closely with engineers, technicians, and lab leads to meet daily operational requirements.
This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.
What You Need- Basic understanding of computer hardware and lab environments.
- Familiarity with OS installation and basic system configuration.
- Ability to follow technical instructions and standard procedures accurately.
- Good documentation and communication skills.
- Willingness to perform physical lab tasks including equipment movement and setup.
- Team‑oriented mindset with a positive attitude toward support roles.
- Qualification:
Diploma, associate degree, or equivalent practical experience in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field. - 1‑3 years of experience in lab support, hardware support, or a similar technical role is preferred.

Compensation Range$38,000-$57,000
BenefitsFull‑time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro‑rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty.
