We have a brand-new opportunity for a Level 3 Technician to work in a corporate environment located onsite in Hillsboro, OR handling requests for support of software / hardware. This role will be 12‑hour shifts, working 6:00 AM‑6:00 PM or 6:00 PM‑6:00 AM.
Duties and Responsibilities- Put OS on client laptops / desktops / tablets, configure laptops / desktops / tablets and perform client data migration.
- Provide advanced break/fix support of software and hardware issues for clients.
- Manage and update tickets via the client’s ticketing database.
- Adapt to changing directions within an hour, sometimes less.
- Travel between buildings using personal vehicle.
- Interact with clients in person, phone, email, and IM; work in a dynamic team and cross‑train to backfill peer team members.
- Train and backfill for client’s partner IT groups, including Data Center Housing, IT Service Centers, and Audio‑Visual departments.
- Accept additional responsibilities assigned periodically to meet client needs and receive continuous hands‑on training.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of technical experience.
- Certification required within 90 days of start date.
- Windows / Linux imaging experience.
- Advanced Windows OS troubleshooting.
- Basic server imaging with limited troubleshooting.
- Basic Linux OS troubleshooting.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. solo; may be required to walk / sit / stand / crawl / kneel for extended periods.
- Excellent customer service skills and excellent written / verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word) and Windows 7, 8, and 10.
Wage Range
: $17.40 – $23.20 per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
