UST is searching for a Lab Support who will serve as technical lead for troubleshooting and configuring.

• Train and support team with troubleshooting.
• Assemble and disassemble systems, boards, and components such as motherboards, CPUs, memory, and power supplies.
• Perform physical setup of racks, power connections, cabling, and peripheral installations.
• Support BIOS, BMC, CPLD, and firmware updates and assist in system bring-up and smoke testing.
• Driver and network installation and configuration.(LINUX, Windows).
• Maintain lab infrastructure including test benches, power strips, tools, and network connectivity.
• Conduct hardware-level troubleshooting and component replacement under engineering guidance.
• Support environmental, thermal, or functional tests and collect basic validation data.
• Follow ESD safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and secure lab environment.
• Collaborate with validation engineers to prepare systems for testing and resolve setup issues.
• Assist in documentation of system configurations, test results, and issue reports.
• Support process audits, equipment calibration, and preventive maintenance activities.

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

• Expert knowledge with Office Suite (Excel, Work, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Strong Networking knowledge
• Strong working knowledge of operating systems, network environments, and PC applications.
• Experience in debugging and triage engineering systems and communicating complex issues to management and users.

• 2-5 years of experience with customer service calls and field repair and troubleshooting of user systems

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
• 2-5 years of experience in Platform enabling/debug
• 2-5 years of experience in a hardware or semiconductor lab environment.

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

• Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty.
