Embedded Systems Test Architect
Our client, a leader in the aerospace and technology industry, is seeking a dedicated Embedded Systems Test Architect to join their innovative team. As an Embedded Systems Test Architect, you will be an integral part of the engineering department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strategic thinking, technical expertise, and leadership skills that will align successfully within the organization.

Hillsboro, Oregon (Onsite)
What's the Job?
- Own and evolve the comprehensive platform-wide test strategy, covering development, integration, system, performance, security, and certification testing.
- Design and implement test environments, including physical labs and virtualized/simulated environments, to support diverse testing needs.
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary test team, setting best practices and ensuring high-quality test design and automation.
- Translate strategic testing plans into detailed, executable test plans for each release or sprint, coordinating across multiple test levels.
- Develop and enhance automation frameworks and scripts, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines to streamline testing processes.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field;
Master's degree preferred. - 8+ years of experience in software or systems testing, with at least 2-3 years in a test architect or lead role.
- Proven experience defining and executing test strategies for complex, multi-component systems.
- Hands-on experience building automation frameworks, including API, UI, and performance testing tools.
- Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests as part of the build and release process.
