Level 3 Technician

We are currently seeking a qualified Level 3 Technician to join our client's team onsite in Hillsboro, OR. This candidate will work a 12-hour shift during the hours of 6:00 pm to 6:00 am, on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every other Saturday.
The ideal candidate must possess a valid driver's license, clean MVR, and a reliable vehicle.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide support for PCs and printers
- Support the operation help desk which supports the factory hardware – mainly business group owned clients and printers – and build new systems
- Build identified systems and recycle identified systems
- Break fix hardware and basic build installs to PC's running Windows 7 and Windows 10 (x64)
- Printers, Hubs-Passive, Hubs-Active – hook up hub, cabling, network skills (configure static IP to be ready to connect to domain)
- Remote desktop administration, HTML, Visual Basic (install and find resolution-ensuring installed correctly), Active Server Pages
- System Imaging via Altiris
- Software Patching via Big Fix
- Data Administration working with engineer – updating information as directed by engineer
- Knowledge of remote administration (i.e., Remote Desktop, Terminal Server)
- System and Printer audits
- Data entry of PC into system
This candidate will have frequent interaction with clients in person and via phone, email, and IM. The role will be working in a dynamic team and cross training to backfill for peer team members. Our client will challenge this role with additional responsibilities, assigned periodically aimed to help meet our client's needs and provide this candidate with continuous hands-on training and experience.
Skills and
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 to 5+ years of technical experience desired
- A+ certification required within 90 days of start date
- Windows imaging experience
- Advanced Windows OS troubleshooting, including enterprise and domain network troubleshooting
- Basic printer support and troubleshooting.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. solo
- May be required to walk / sit / stand / crawl / kneel for extended periods
- Must have excellent customer service skills and excellent written / verbal communication skills
- Requires knowledge of Microsoft suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word primarily) and Windows 7, 8, and 10
- Previous cleanroom experience preferred but not required
Wage Range:
The rate for this position is between $18.64 - $24.85 per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Benefits:
