Technical Systems Engineer

100% onsite sponsor flexible with start and end times. Laptop will be issued. Candidate must possess experience debugging PC hardware platforms, building server systems, and configuring hardware. Five plus years experience installing and running Linux operating systems is required. Working knowledge of high speed networking is also required. Good verbal and written communication skills is critical for this role. Candidate must be able to follow technical directions accurately.

This tech would assist in executing changes in wiring configurations of server racks, installing servers in racks, installing cards into servers, updating and maintaining Linux operating systems, supporting remote users, as well as debugging and resolving connectivity issues for remote users. High school diploma or GED equivalent required for US candidates. Additional skills helpful but not necessary are: knowledge of client inventory system (ISMP), client shipping system (ISM), familiarity with lab environments, and VM experience.
