Program Manager – LIMS / Public Health / Clinical

Work Hours:
Approximately 30 hours/week

Contract: 3 years Contract

Onsite Requirement:
First-week onsite onboarding required

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to support our client with the implementation and replacement of a new Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).

The Program Manager will work closely with the Senior Project Manager, Client teams and the LIMS vendor. The role will focus on project management, organizational change management, communications, team coordination, risk/issue management and User Acceptance Testing.

Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager / Program Manager
    .
  • PMP Certification – Required.
  • Strong knowledge of Project Management / PMBOK methodologies
    .
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365
    .
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems).
  • Project Management experience in a Laboratory or Clinical Care environment
    .
  • Organizational Change Management experience in Laboratory/Clinical environments.
  • Healthcare, Public Health, or Laboratory IT project experience.
  • Experience managing UAT activities.
  • Vendor and stakeholder management experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple complex project schedules, timelines, milestones and critical paths.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Identify, manage and elevate project risks and issues.
  • Coordinate project resources and work with client management on resource allocation.
  • Liaise with the LIMS vendor and internal client teams.
  • Support Organizational Change Management and User Acceptance activities.
  • Coordinate and manage UAT for the LIMS replacement project.
  • Maintain project decision logs and project plans.
  • Prepare bi-weekly project status reports
    .
  • Prepare resource capacity and management reports.
  • Support project planning, scheduling and related subprojects.
  • Perform additional IT Project Management activities as assigned.

Important: This project has an estimated Level of Effort (LOE) of approximately 30 hours per week
, with project deliverables due every three weeks.
Onsite onboarding will be required during the first week.
