Seeking a highly analytical planning professional to drive production planning, MRP optimization, inventory strategy, and supply planning processes. This role requires advanced Excel and ERP/MRP expertise, strong analytical problem‑solving skills, and the ability to identify and implement process improvements that improve service, inventory health, and plan stability.
The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex problems, working with large datasets, and partnering with stakeholders across multiple departments to improve efficiency and drive results. This position offers the opportunity to influence operational performance through data‑driven decision‑making, process improvements, and proactive planning.
Compensation: $75-$85K/yr DOE
Availability: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm.
Duties & Responsibilities- Utilize advanced Excel and ERP data to analyze trends, recommend corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across planning processes.
- Monitor inventory levels and make replenishment decisions to balance service, cost, and working capital targets.
- Develop and maintain planning models, reports, and dashboards to support production planning decisions, inventory optimization, and operational visibility.
- Lead data‑driven production and supply planning activities, leveraging ERP/MRP systems, Excel, and planning tools to improve service levels, inventory health, and plan stability.
- Support reporting and dashboard development to provide actionable insights to leadership and business partners.
- Manage supplier relationships and help ensure service expectations are met.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
- Plan and execute purchasing activities, including creating and managing purchase orders to support demand and production requirements.
- Partner with suppliers to ensure on‑time delivery, resolve issues, and meet service‑level expectations.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in planning, operations, procurement, supply chain, business analysis, or a related function.
- Experience working within ERP or enterprise business systems preferred; SAP IBP ideally.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required; experience with reporting and visualization tools is highly valued.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Self‑starter with a continuous improvement mindset and a high level of accountability.
