Job Summary
The Field Service Engineer provides Level II support for semiconductor manufacturing equipment in a cleanroom environment. Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, tool qualification, equipment recovery, wafer handling, and documentation while supporting production and maintaining safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform PMs, corrective maintenance, tool qualifications, and recovery activities on diffusion equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and respond to alarms.
- Conduct inspections, calibrations, leak checks, cleaning, and component replacement.
- Complete maintenance documentation and work orders.
- Follow cleanroom, safety, and lockout/tagout procedures.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of semiconductor equipment maintenance experience.
- Experience supporting diffusion or thermal processing equipment.
- Experience with ASM, TEL, Applied Materials, Kokusai, or similar platforms is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and preventive maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of cleanroom practices, wafer handling, and equipment safety.
