Field Service Engineer I

Your role as a Field Service Engineer I will include: de-palletizing and preflighting vacuum pumps for customer use, troubleshooting and remedying installed equipment faults, performing preventative maintenance, deinstalling failed pumps and installing rebuilt pumps, preparing vacuum pumps for shipment, and working with customer personnel to troubleshoot vacuum issues with chambers, forelines, and vacuum pumps. You will also perform preventative and corrective maintenance on Gas Abatement Systems.

To succeed, you will need two or more years of experience interacting with customers preferred. Hands-on experience with vacuum pumps such as Edwards, Ebara, Alcatel, and Leybold dry, rotary vane, and boosters preferred. High School diploma or equivalent. College or specific relevant coursework preferred. Industry experience preferred. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret written documents. Ability to respond professionally to common inquiries.

Ability to prepare reports and write business correspondence. Required to talk, and hear. Stand or sit for extended periods, walk; use hands to type, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Routinely required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. Frequently lift and or move up to 35 pounds.
