This full‑time, in‑office position is located within the transplant and specialty contracts program on the inside sales and service team at the INTERLINK Hillsboro office.
The role provides customer service, education, and operational support to existing clients accessing the transplant network program. The Account Manager serves as the primary contact for nurses and others who call or email regarding transplant services. Responsibilities include coordinating transplant network access, providing nursing educational services, and outreach to clients who have not referred for longer than expected. The position will coordinate with sales, claims, operations, contracting, and medical support/education teams.
Attention to detail, willingness to communicate with clients via phone, and follow‑up persistence are essential. This role could serve as a gateway to management as the department grows.
- Work with accounts marked in the database (Hub Spot) and grow incoming business.
- Prepare documents required for clients to access transplant and specialty programs.
- Collect client questions and seek answers within INTERLINK’s various departments.
- Maintain a Hub Spot database of client invitations for educational services and ensure they are offered when classes are available.
- Coordinate educational webinars with nursing credits (CCM) by arranging meetings between the AVP AM, VP Sales, medical team members, and contracting staff.
- Proactively reach out to clients to enhance business and client experience.
- Collaborate with the sales team on sales campaigns and provide administrative support.
- Deliver educational “how‑to” presentations to clients on accessing services.
- Receive incentives/bonuses for increasing incoming referrals year over year.
- Excellent relationship‑building skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in multi‑tasking and working in groups.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Initiative and ownership of projects.
- Willingness and ability to talk with clients on the phone.
- Persistence and relationship building are essential.
- College degree preferred, but not required.
- Specific academic achievements in high school are valued.
- Three years of successful work experience with a documented history of success.
- Experience in a relationship‑based industry.
- Teamwork experience preferred.
Reports to the Assistant Vice President, Account Management.
