American Precision Industries in Hillsboro Oregon is currently seeking an experienced CAD Drafter/Document Control Technician.
An ideal candidate would be someone with 2 years of experience generating technical drawings and 3-D models, with a firm understanding of modern manufacturing process – as related to a machine shop environment.
An AAS in Mechanical Drafting and Design is desired – but not mandatory for an individual who meets all of the requirements.
A proficiency in Solid Works is required, and a moderate to advanced comprehension of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) is strongly recommended.
ResponsibilitiesAll applicants should have the ability to follow instructions, be meticulous with their work methods and processes, and work well with others – but also be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently.
Rate of pay will be commensurate with level of experience and ability.
