The Shift Team Lead is responsible for leading and coordinating preventative maintenance operations during assigned shifts. This role provides direct supervision to technicians supporting critical sub‑fab systems, ensuring safety standards, quality expectations, and compliant operation of equipment to MSRFSR's procedural standards. The Shift Team Lead serves as the primary escalation point for on shift issues, customer interaction, and personnel growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead preventative maintenance technicians during assigned shifts
  • Oversee daily work activities including maintenance, troubleshooting, and system response
  • Ensure safe operation and compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards
  • Communicate shift status, equipment conditions, and critical issues during shift handoffs
  • Support technician training, onboarding, and ongoing development
  • Participate in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Review, track, and approve employee timecards ensuring accuracy and policy compliance
  • Monitor attendance and provide headcount updates with the customer
  • Maintain accurate shift logs, reports, and operational documentation
Requirements
  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, sub‑fab, facilities, or a related industrial environment
  • Previous leadership, lead technician, or supervisory experience
  • Understanding of safety practices and quality discipline
  • Strong communication, decision‑making, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Supervisory experience in semiconductor operations
  • Experience with vacuum pumps, abatement systems, exhaust systems, or industrial utilities
  • Experience responding to alarms and equipment faults
  • Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment adhering to strict procedural expectations

Position Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • Ability to pass required 10‑panel drug screening and background check
  • Ability and willingness to use a respirator during work, if applicable
  • Ability to work compressed work week, 12‑hour shifts on a 4/3 day per week rotation; night and day shifts may be available; flexibility to work either is ideal as we may have limited shifts open.
  • Experience with basic hand tools in a professional or personal setting
