Position: Bakers Assistant / Utility

Assistant Baker / Dishwasher

At Nothing Bundt Cakes, the Assistant Baker / Dishwasher is at the heart of it all! Come set the stage and make the magic in our bakery possible.

10AM- 3:00pm Monday-Thur. Possible hours Friday. (This is not just a summer position)

Dedicated to perfecting the craft, you are able to support the Bakery because you see beauty in raw ingredients and strive for consistency when you make our guests’ favorite recipes. You’ll keep the bakery team’s equipment clean and ready to make cakes that bring joy to thousands of people every day!

Accountabilities/Duties
  • Manually washes, rinses, and sanitizes all baking pans, dishes, utensils, and other tools in a thorough and timely manner and adheres to all NbC standards.
  • Monitors sanitization levels to ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines.
  • Gather and remove garbage, sweep and mop floors, and clean floor drains.
  • Performs routine cleaning of windows, shelves, counters, refrigerator, cooler, and bathroom.
  • Cleans, sanitizes, and restocks workstation and ensures all cleaning supplies are sufficiently prepared for the next shift.
  • Monitors inventory of cleaning supplies and notifies management when replenishment is required.
  • Assists in the unloading, processing, and storage of weekly supplies delivery.
  • Supports other team members in cleaning and organizing workstations as needed.
  • Complies with all health and safety guidelines and NbC policies and procedures, including strict adherence to dress code and personal hygiene.
  • Maintains a consistent work attendance and punctuality record.
  • Follows NbC proprietary recipes and cake production methods with precision and achieves productivity goals.
  • Effectively utilizes measuring instruments, commercial‑grade mixers, ovens, and other tools to bake cakes.
  • Assists baker with accurately preparing raw ingredients and equipment for baking, places cake pans into the hot oven, and monitors the baking process.
  • Assists baker with daily baking and production flow and processes.
  • Adheres to the proper packaging, labeling, and storage of baked cakes as well as product rotation standards, and maintains baking and refrigeration logs.
