Function: To safely and efficiently manufacture product strictly adhering to established standard operating procedures and company policies.
Scope: Responsible for executing established procedures for blending, formulating and filling containers.
Additional responsibilities include inventory control, maintenance of equipment, housekeeping activities and a strong focus on chemical safety and hazardous waste management.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSThe essential functions of this position require prioritizing and completing all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner, adjusting for changing priorities and availability of resources, and demonstrating initiative in identifying additional job‑related tasks to be completed when time permits. The amount of time performing each function may vary day‑to‑day. All duties shall be performed in an efficient and professional manner in accordance with the company policies and under the direct supervision of a designated supervisor.
Receives:
General supervision given by Assistant Manager and above. Completed work is periodically reviewed for accuracy, completeness, and compliance within established guidelines.
- High School Diploma/GED or previous work experience required.
- Must be comfortable working with chemicals including, but not limited to, corrosives and organic solvents.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English (both oral and written).
- Have skills in basic mathematics (algebra is highly desirable).
- Have a stable, verifiable work history with excellent attendance record.
- Be mechanically inclined.
- Demonstrates attention to detail.
- Ability to wear a respirator mask to perform required tasks.
- Ability to follow instructions in both verbal and written form.
