Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Technician for a long-term opportunity with an advanced manufacturing company in Hillsboro, OR. This role is ideal for candidates with strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience who enjoy working in a highly automated production environment. The Equipment Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Schedule:

Graveyard Shift - Sunday 10:30PM-7AM, Monday through Thursday 11PM-7:30AM

Pay:

$24.75-$39.97/hr DOE

Equipment Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on automated manufacturing equipment and related systems

  • Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and automated production equipment

  • Inspect and analyze defective components to determine necessary machine adjustments and repairs

  • Maintain and troubleshoot robotic and automated equipment to support production operations

  • Respond to maintenance requests and equipment downtime issues in a timely manner

  • Document maintenance activities, spare parts usage, and equipment issues/resolutions

  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and equipment reliability projects

  • Communicate equipment concerns and repair status with production and maintenance teams

  • Follow all company safety procedures, 5S standards, and quality requirements

Equipment Maintenance Technician

Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree in Electromechanical Technology or related field preferred

  • 2-4 years of experience performing maintenance on automated manufacturing equipment

  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills

  • Experience utilizing test and diagnostic equipment

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and maintenance procedures

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift

  • Frequent reaching, bending, crawling, climbing, pushing, and pulling

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 25 pounds frequently
